Ed Dyson is a comedy writer based in London.  Since leaving his previous full time position as Showbiz Writer for The Sun newspaper in 2016 Ed has written comedic material for some of the world's most famous Drag Queens including, Lady Bunny, Manila Luzon, The Vivienne, Alaska, William, Vanjie, Latrice Royale, Thorgy Thor, Dela, Shea Coulee, Karen From Finance, Mrs Kasha Davis, Mimi Imfurst and Shuga Cain.  This work has included stand up, parody songs, roast jokes and one-woman shows.

In 2019, alongside feature and news writing for national titles and a career as a fiction author, Ed began venturing into comedy outside of the drag world and has written for a wide range of comics including Stephen K Amos and Dapper Laughs.  He's also written for Comedy Central UK and contributed comedic articles to The Sun, London X, Attitude, Gay Times, Huffington Post, BuzzFeed, Diva and Cosmopolitan.

Ed has written his debut sitcom pilot Oh Brother which has received interest from the BBC and two film manuscripts Borrowed Time and The Stars Are Dead, Darling.

In October 2019 Ed launched his podcast United Queendom, which quickly placed on the comedy charts and became a leading LGBT platform interviewing big stars includine Michelle Visage, Alan Carr, Ross Matthews and Courtney Act.  United Queendom's sister show, The Ed And Charlie Show, has also proved popular on Apple, Spotify, SoundCloud and will be featured as part of the 2020 Podcast Radio Schedule.

Ed has also performed as part of Roast Battle London, in character performances for I F*cking Date London events and has appeared on ITV, Channel 5 and Talk Radio as a talking head.
